E-statements: A Great Way to Keep Track

To sign up for E-statements, just login to your CME@Home account, then click the E-statement link.

Eliminate the envelope! Get your statements quickly and easily on the Internet. You receive an email each month when your statement is ready, then you click a link, login and look at your statements. The best part for many people, though, is that you can look up several months' worth of past statements online, so you don't have to organize and store the paper statements at home.

Online Bill Pay: Less Hassle, Less Expense...More Time for You!

With Online Bill Pay, paying bills won't become a joy, but it won't be a hassle, either. Simply login, enter your bills to pay, and hit submit. The system does the rest. You can pay bills to almost any company or individual (sorry, government and court-ordered payments are excluded). Payments to many companies go electronically. For payments to all other recipients, the system will write a paper check and mail it for you. Easy!

Online banking security tips

CME@Home Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and Online Bill Payment use the latest in security technology. But it still pays to be vigilant about this, or any other financial transactions you conduct online.

Don't save your passwords on your computer or your smartphone. If the computer or smartphone gets stolen or someone else has access to it, they would be able to login to your accounts
Use a strong password. Best bet is a series of random numbers and letters, including capital letters. Don't use words from a dictionary, childrens' names, birthdates or other easy-to-guess phrases.
Don't respond to any emails asking for your username, password or any sensitive personal information. It could be a "phishing" or other attack.
Of course, make sure you're logging into an SSL-Encrypted page. Your browser will have some sort of indication for this, usually a padlock near the address bar, or lower-left or lower-right corner of the browser window
Keep your virus protection up to date. There are programs that can install themselves, then follow your browsing or even capture your keystrokes...and your usernames and passwords. Antivirus software can help detect these.
