Credit
unions are good. They’re member-owned, not-for-profit financial
cooperatives that exist to serve their members.
CME is great. Big words, but we believe
we can back them up. We were first formed in 1935 to serve our
public servants—firefighters
initially, police a little later. So, you could say great service
is in our DNA.
This spirit of service prevails today, even
though our member base has expanded. Everything we do, everything
we offer, every service and account we create has just one mission:
to help you make your life great.

How to join
This is easy. Simply visit any branch, give us a call, or send an email to itsgreat@cmefcu.org. You’ll fill out an application, and make a minimum $5 deposit into your CME FCU Advantage Share Account, which represents your membership stake in this cooperative enterprise.
Then, you can begin using all our accounts, services, and personal service to take your good life…and make it great.
NEW! Download your account application online! Now you can save time by filling out your application before you come in to your local CME FCU branch.
Why join
Easy. It’s not just because we have great rates, incredible
convenience and solid service (which we do, in all cases). You
should become a CME FCU member because we are here to help you improve
your life, to make it even better than it already is. To take it
from good, to great…and beyond!
Who can join
This is easy, too. If you live, work, worship, attend school, or volunteer
in Franklin County, you can join. If you’re related to someone
who’s a CME FCU member, you can join…even if you don’t
live in our geographic area. Plus, if you joined CME FCU then moved
out of the county, you’re still a member.
