Service Codes
CMEbyPhone: you can!
You may not need to make a funds transfer when you're on vacation overseas, but you can. You may not need to see if a check has cleared outside of business hours, but you can. You may not need to verify your account balance over the weekend, but you can.
CMEbyPhone is an easy, menu-driven phone access system that allows you to do all these things and more, from any touch tone telephone. To use it, simply dial one of the access numbers above, enter your CME member number and CME access code when prompted.
There are two ways to access your information when using CMEbyPhone: a menu driven mode and a Service Code driven mode. To help you navigate through our new menu driven system, please view the listing below. If you would like to use the Service Code driven menu, please follow these instructions:
1. Go into the Main Menu by pressing 1
2. Once you enter the Main Menu press 7 for Additional Options
3. Then press 4 to Change Preferences
4. Then press 2 to switch to "Expert Mode" (Service Code Driven Mode)
5. Accept this mode type
This will switch you to a Service Code driven menu. If you would like to switch back to a menu driven mode enter service code 23. Please see updated service codes.
