International Card Usage Regulations - Updated as of March, 2006

Please contact CME before you leave the United States. Due to an increase in international counterfeit credit cards, CME has blocked card usage in most foreign countries, including the countries of Romania, Spain, Russia, Mexico, South Korea, North Korea and Lithuania.In addition, the Platinum MasterCard is blocked in Australia. You will not have use of your CME Visa and/or MasterCard in these countries.

Your VISA card is now protected by Verified

International ATM locations

Beginning April 2005, when you use your ATM/Debit or Credit card at a foreign ATM or for purchase outside of the US, you may notice an additional transaction on your statement.  The standard 1% fee that is normally charged by VISA or MasterCard for international transactions will now show up as a separate charge.  This processing change was made by VISA/MasterCard.
