About Get Behind the Badge.

Every year our law enforcement officers and firefighters are killed or critically injured in the line of duty. Get Behind the Badge was founded in Central Ohio by Angela McDowell, spouse of fallen police offer Terry McDowell. The goal of this not-for-profit organization is to help those families that have suffered a personal loss.
Get Behind the Badge raises money from many different fundraisers, sponsorships and donations throughout the year. It is with the help of many that this organization can alleviate some of the financial burdens a family suffers during this critical time.
